BIO
Lish Bills began in 2010 when Kirk Williams, known for his role as the vocalist and guitarist in Armed For Apocalypse, ventured into a solo project that would later bloom into something remarkable. He released his debut EP, Kicks to Get , in 2012. The EP was tracked in two vibrant live sessions, brought to life under the skillful guidance of Chris Keene (Surrogate, Emery, Saves The Day). Spanning a decade, Williams continued to cultivate his creative landscape, occasionally sharing his musical creations on the live stage.
In 2022, Williams returned to the studio, a trove of songs written between 2007 and 2022 in tow. The studio environment once again witnessed the magic of collaboration with Keene, creating a space where musical ideas could truly flourish. From its humble beginnings as a side project, Lish Bills has morphed into a focal point of creative energy. Each song is nurtured with production that resonates with its essence, as showcased in the first new pair of singles, "Aberdeen" and "Cause I Didn't." These songs provide an introduction to the kaleidoscope of sounds that encapsulate Lish Bills' music. Lish Bills' artistry defies categorization, spanning a tapestry of folk, Americana, and indie rock. Williams' lyrics find a cozy home within the soundscape, weaving a narrative that resonates deeply with the listener.
