Lish Bills is a metal kid who stumbled into the world of folk and Americana. His music explores a range of emotions from pure joy to debaucherous melancholy.
Kirk Williams started Lish Bills as a solo side project while playing in Armed for Apocalypse. He released his first EP, Kicks to Get, in 2012. It was recorded in two live sessions, engineered by Chris Keene (Surrogate, Emery, Saves the Day). Over the next decade or so, Williams wrote many more songs and finally, in 2023, began work on a full length album, this time co-producing it with Keene. Four new singles, “Aberdeen,” “Cause I Didn’t,” “Smash the Window,” and “Hangin' Around,” give a sense of the album’s variety and texture, and of the fact that Lish Bills has gone from a side project to a primary focus with much left to be explored. The full album, All Love and No Heart, is available for pre-order and will be streaming everywhere May 3, 2024.
